Don’t get what the experts are saying by how we aren’t in the best possible situation to land both of these guys. I always watch what the recruit does instead of what they say. And both will have been on LSU campus a few times with foreman coming again this weekend.

I'm so unbelievably upset that Foreman won't get to experience a true LSU vs. Alabama atmosphere in Baton Rouge.

It's about 99% certain he wouldn't even if we were in a "normal" season. The rant is very, very close representation of how our fanbase thinks and acts. Half the crowd would be gone by halftime with no life past the first couple of scores.

Foreman has visited LSU and Clemson twice each. USC multiple times, ASU and UGA once. Not really about watching what he does.
Leigh is a weird case study. We've been involved longer, had more visits, great relationships, depth chart and about every other conceivable advantage yet things seem to be trending away. Oklahoma is almost all based on Caleb Williams and OSU was out then in and yet to get a visit this year. If ever there were a recruitment where you really wonder what's going on behind the scenes it's his. It's flabbergasting to me that we could possibly lose this one based on recent trends. We've done everything perfectly and have every advantage yet are battling. It just doesn't make sense if you go by the way recruitments tend to trend considering he hasn't been a drama prospect.

No knock intended on any of these recruits but 17-18 year old kids are more likely to make emotionally driven decisions than the average grown arse poster of TD.com

Hard to say what happens in these close recruiting battles when we have no idea what the conversations between recruit & recruiter are, and what’s going on between the recruit’s ears

I wouldn’t discount Clemson. They were one of his first offers and, before Co Vid, was considered a front runner. They have remained in contact with the Leigh family and believe they still have a shot. They will have an opening on the OL next season where PT will be available for Leigh and, I like LSU, they won’t be rebuilding next year. So he could go in, get substantial PT, and play for a championship.

I don’t see why any top prospect wouldn’t pick LSU. They could come in, play for 2 years then opt out, and start collecting agent checks before they’re draft eligible.

LSU’s playing chess with these opt outs.. huge recruiting tool.

Don’t they play in the Sun Belt Conference?

Oh, nevermind, the sun belt whipped y’all’s arse. He must be looking forward going to a conference where UL Lafayette could win.

Keep your purple blinders on.

I had to edit this post to point out how stupid your point is when the team from the sunbelt is ranked at 25, the team from the big 12 is ranked at 9, and the team you actually support isn’t even sniffing the rankings right now.

I didn’t want to knock LSU because you all are an elite program, but I had to point out the state of things right now.

It doesn't matter where Oklahoma is ranked. If they luck out and make the playoffs they'll get curb stomped....oh, lets say, 63-28.

Prophetic words. Likely to happen as O has let the program disintegrate.

I’ve said it before here, but I take no shame in getting boat raced by the best college football team of all time.

If we weren’t historically bad on defense to start the season we’d be sitting with 1 maybe 2 loses. We’d be a top 25 team and both of these guys would be all but virtual locks.

Falling off a cliff like this gives other coaches the ammo to negatively recruit us

Tristan Leigh is a must land if w emiss on Savion Byrd
