CST, THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS AND THE LHSAA ANNOUNCE 2009 HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME OF THE WEEK SCHEDULE
Exclusive schedule ends with State Farm/LHSAA Prep Classic!
NEW ORLEANS – For the second consecutive season, the New Orleans Saints has partnered with the Louisiana High School Athletic Association to continue the New Orleans Saints-LHSAA High School Football Game of the Week. Cox Sports Television (CST) will again broadcast 10 prep regular season games weekly, followed by four playoff games that lead to exclusive coverage of the finals in the Louisiana Superdome.
“The New Orleans Saints are proud to partner with the LHSAA for the second year in a row to spotlight some of our state’s tremendous high school football programs,” said Saints Owner/Executive Vice President Rita Benson LeBlanc. “Our support of high school and youth football programs is critical both to the communities we serve and the growth of the game we all love. We look forward to again bringing many of our gameday and youth programs elements to the different locations this season to compliment the passion and commitment of football fans to their teams.”
Once again, the CST broadcasts will give high school players the opportunity to showcase their skills on television, including “Saints Play of the Game” and “Saints Drive Summary” features. When possible and as facilities allow, the Saints will bring the “Saints Game Day Experience” to local schools, with inflatable, football-related activities for area youth.
“The New Orleans Saints – LHSAA Game of the Week has become even more popular than we had envisioned. 14 weeks of some of the best matchups our state has to offer all leading up to the Superdome and the Prep Classic December 11 & 12,” said Kenny Henderson, Commissioner of the LHSAA. “This second year has a very diverse schedule with some intriguing rivalries. Special thanks to the Saints, CST and the other many fine sponsors who support the LHSAA and the game of the week program.”

Sweet dude. Sylve, Fitte, James Wright, Alonzo Lewis, Alfred Blue, Rasco, Trovon Reed vs Tyrann Mathieu.
Now if we could get Redemptorist, Patterson, and Lutcher games televised. Pretty much the class of 2011 without leaving your home.
