I know it was a bit of a mystery what was up with him. I’ve heard it from a few people with the program as well.

Good for him. Not sure whether it was grades, performance or what but I would've taken him over McGlothern if all things were equal. I like McGlothern but just liked the fit of Johnson better.

As I read it, it still is not certain he has qualified academically and are counting on the new enrollment breaks for COVID to hopefully get him in. Anyone else read it that way?

His film wasn’t great. McGlothern stepped up with All Star recruits and played like a beast.

What position? Can't be corner because McGlothern can't play that at this level. Nickel maybe but again I prefer Johnson in that role. Why I said fit. If McGlothern commits to playing S then I completely agree but I don't see it. Johnson could play all 3. McGlothern can't play CB.

Pretty sure McGlothern was a 5 star until he switched positions his senior year. I expect Coach Raymond to mold him into a big time player.
