And you're using the ranking system to back yourself up, all-the-while insinuating that the ranking system is wrong and that a bunch of your current and prospective future commits are underrated.
I'm not saying its wrong I'm saying its early. Where did I say a BUNCH of guys would move up? TR/Nico are both in the top 30 and Rivals usually gives 30-32 5 stars...what don't you get?

I would say that last year's class was a good (but not great) class. The class addressed needs but wasn't full of "can't miss" guys.
And you don't tihnk thats what this class is doing at Bama? Same thing. We are filling up on lineman on both sides of the ball and anytime you want alot of stars, its hard to do so when you have a "big" group.

Come on dude, everyone loses atleast some big time recruits. Quit acting like Saban can do no wrong.

(Robert Lane comes to mind BTW)
If he was so bigtime why did he go to WVU at the time who was not very good? Bc they were going to allow him to play QB. White would NOT have fit into Saban or 90% of other schools' offense.

Lane switched bc he was scared to compete. Anything else?

rivals has admitted many times they dropped the ball on evaluating Louisiana talent last year and most of the prospects were underrated
No they haven't...prove they admitted this.

I don't think I've ever seen more than 30 in a season... if my memory serves me correctly.

Haha, if you are going to make excuses for every player there is no point.

pat white was greatly responsible for bringing the spread offense into mainstream college football, he has dominated his conference since he has been on campus. once again ask vince young how good saban at evaluating next level posistions

What is Saban's offense? You do realize he pretty much gives his OC's carte blanche right?

Wow...some of you are so delusional.

Major Applewhite ran the spread at Rice and is a spread OC, if Saban lets his OC's do whatever then why on earth was Bama not running even a VARIATION of the spread last year? His QB at Rice didn't have speed either so dont give me that.

Trio- I am guessing the ability to detect sarcasm was lost on you at some point. Most people are being "sarcastic" when making fun of the 3 stars Bama is getting because all of you kool-aid drinkers wouldn't shut the hell up about last year's class.

And I'm sorry, but if Saban is such a damn good talent evaluator, he would have taken Vince Young and Pat White regardless. You don't think he was kicking himself in the arse in 2005?

Saban is a good recruiter...as is EVERY coach in the SEC. You need to chill the hell out man. He is not God.

because JPW is slower than a 90 year olds bowel movements you dumbass, you dont have the personell to run the offense then you dont run it

Fisher ran the offense at LSU... not Saban.

And Applewhite ran a "variation" of the spread at Rice, but that's because Rice has virtually nothing resembling an offensive line to run a traditional offense.

My favorite part is where he explains that Sabin hired a spread OC to run a non-spread offense. I guess that shows how brilliant their coach is at hiring OCs. Can't wait to see their new spread OC develop Sabin's non-spread offense.
