Kayshon Boutte will be one of the greatest WRs to come through LSU.

And he will more than likely do it without a Heisman trophy winner throwing him the ball.

Bookmark it and revisit in 3 years.

Also, Koy Moore is Ja'Marr Chase jr.

Celebrate the ones we have, folks!

Moore is going to be solid. He is not on Chase's level.

I think Moore, Boutte, and Gilbert will be fantastic, but let's pump the brakes a little.

I disagree.

No one thought Freshman Chase was on Sophomore Chase's level either.

Boutte is going to be great. His speed is unreal. I could see him being used in a ton of creative ways in this offense.

Pump the brakes. Unfortunately, the best comp to Chase in this entire class was Rakim Jarrett.

Moore is a good WR, but Chase was bigger and stronger at this point and a bit more polished. Chase's power is one of his most underrated qualities. Remember Orgeron said that Moffitt told him you can put as much weight on that kid as you want, he'll carry it.

This board was EXTREMELY high on Chase out of high school. He was physically on another level than Moore.

Putrid offenses and coaching changes equals transfer portal for both.

I think the Chase comparison is not a good one for Koy Moore. Strikes me as a more Jefferson-ish player

We received commitments from 4 targets yesterday, two of them being the definition of ELITE (Boutte and Gilbert ). If Jefferson stays we have our top three returning. And we have Palmer and Lee and others waiting to get on the field .

Is our goal to win games or is it to stockpile wide receivers? If it is the former, I’d say we address actual DEFICIENCIES between now and signing day. You know, defensive linemen that can set the edge, safeties, running backs etc.

There were some freaking out, certainly not everyone. Personally with the stellar crop of La receivers coming out next year, I thought taking four this class was one too many. Two with Gilbert is okay, maybe they add one more wr this year.

I agree Boutte is a stud, he was the one I most wanted to land.

I do not see the Moore/Chase comparison. Chase was a much thicker, stronger looking kid coming out of high school than Moore. And much more highly rated.

Chase was the Biletnikofff winner, the best receiver in college football. No offense, but its a stretch to make that comparison to Moore. They just happened to go to the same high school. Moore is the 50th ranked receiver in the ratings now. That's quite a leap of faith to say he is the next Chase.

Moore looks smooth on his highlight reel, but most everyone looks all world on a highlight reel.

I think Jarrett and Burton are better players at this point than Moore, but not Boutte. I was over Jarrett and Burton skipping out by the time my head hit the pillow. It makes recruiting wideouts next year easier.

Assuming Brady stays and Brennan is half as good as Burrow, getting wide outs to LSU will not be an issue. Look how many greats came to play in our dinosaur offense.

You have kids who whole heartedly want to be at LSU... the pageant queens, regardless of talent (to some extent), have proven to be more problems than benefit.

Umm speak for yourself. I may not have expected him to win the Biletnikoff, but there was no doubt he was an absolute stud.

Boutte will be one of the fastest football players entering college next season. Cover him if you can.

People also forget we signed Gilbert and Taylor. Those 2 will basically be WRs in this offense and are both very good. Their signing was used against us by other teams as examples of an overloaded WR class.

We're set for pass catchers. Boutte will learn from Chase how hard you have to work.

I'm sure where people got the idea that Koy Moore was supposed to be the next Chase. They're different WR types. Moore is much more comparable to Justin Jefferson.
