Good Twitter follows
The following five players are active, funny and, most importantly, informative on Twitter, providing regular updates on their visits.

85. David Sharpe (Jacksonville, Fla./Providence School), OT, @SHARPECITYY
84. Joshua Frazier (Springdale, Ark./Har-Ber), DT, @JoshuaFrazier99
83. Speedy Noil (New Orleans/Edna Karr), ATH, @SpeedyNoil
82. Clifton Garrett (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South), LB, @CG340
81. Adoree' Jackson (Gardena, Calif./Serra), CB, @AdoreeKnows

Maybe LSU doesn't use Twitter much in recruiting, but at least we know how to target the best Tweeters!

I don't care where we are ranked as long as we add the following in state guys:

Fournette
Dupre
Noil
Willis
Young

Ecstatic if we add:

Hootie
Darrell Williams
Quille

Sometimes I look at our current team ranking and get sad, then see all these guys still on the board and almost laugh at how unfair it is.

We get LF, MD, and CG, that should be enough right there to make LSU #1, IMO.

Our fans won't believe it but Bama signed 9 3 stars last year.

Teams trust their scouts, they don't look to recruiting services.

I'm not getting your point. Programs need to trust their scouting. Some lower caliber players add depth. Others are diamonds in the rough. I wouldn't get too caught up in the # of 3-star athletes we get.

There isn't much difference between a class ranked 11th and the #1 class in most cases. LSU ranks right outside the top 10 right now IIRC.

Maybe any other year; but this year our state is full of 4 and 5 star kids we have a legit shot at getting.

4. LSU: The Tigers had a great shot to be No. 1 headed into the season, but the one team that can come into Louisiana and sign the best keeps LSU from sitting atop the rankings.

YEAH they dont push that agenda or anything

I can't believe that they would go out on such a limb. ESPNU says obvious shite and then act like it's newsworthy.

Paris dropping to 4 star didnt help the 9 5star bet.

If we get 6-7 5stars how couldnt we be #1?

LF
Gerald
Adoree
Speedy
Brown
Hootie
Clifton
Malachi
Quille

There's 9. All somewhat plausible.

Dude, if we finish with LF, Noil, Malachi, Williams, Willis, Valentine, Young, Garrett, Brown, Hooite, Jackson, etc., there's no way we don't finish #1. I don't care who Bama finishes with

No. 37 Clifton Garrett (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South), ILB
Prior ranking: No. 59
The 6-foot-2, 224-pound Garrett jumped more than 20 spots in the rankings as he has added bulk to his frame, and at the same time retaining quickness and his fast-filling, downhill ability. Garrett has impact-type ability with a blend of lateral quickness, discipline and a nose for the ball.
