I love how that article insinuates that LSU depends on TX for recruiting.

ESPN is completely retarded, do they not know we are in on several Texas kids for 2014? Have 1 committed in Hardeman, should get AT LEAST 2 more in Paris and Brown as well. We didn't recruit Texas very hard this year because the talent pool is pretty meh. Ricky Seals Jones is considered very highly regarded yet looked completely overrated all week at his all star thing. Didn't even bother me he's going elsewhere. In fact most Texas kids didn't stand out at all during all star games. It's a down year for talent in TX, and we didn't need anything from there because we got a...

4*/5* DE from TN
4* OT from IL
4* QB from CA
4* QB from GA
4* OG from GA
4* WR From FL (originally)
4* CB from FL
4* DL from TX/NE (depending on where you think his "home" truly is
4* DT from NC
4* WR From MS

They are telling me all 10 of those coaches are better out of state recruiters than that? 10 kids from out of state 4* (or better).

Literary genius. Obviously, the author has watched LSU football over the last 8 seasons under Les. Uh, we are sending a haul to the NFL. Ridiculous.

I like how they act like because we got no "ESPN 150" players from their shitty list it's like we get no one good from Texas.

Uh, hello, we had a true freshman CB who made freshman all-SEC this year...from TEXAS. Danielle Hunter is also a beast that will probably start this year. Corey Thompson is also a very highly regarded kid.

Nope, not ESPN 150 kids though, DRYING UP!

ESPN practices the national enquirer kind of sports journalism.

we dont have a player from texas for the first time since 2008, yet, if you as me, this is our best class that we've had since even before 2008...

defensive tackle Justin Manning (Dallas), to shun LSU's new SEC West rival.

This right here pretty much solidifies the fact that ESPN does a piss poor job following LSU recruiting. LSU left Manning long before he ever committed to aTm.

Coming in 2013 from outside of LA

Gilmore top 150
Pocic top 150
Bain top 150
Dodd top 300
Rettig top 300
Jennings top 300
Herron top 300
Peterson
Leslie
Neal
Stokes
Robinson
LaCouture
Fanaika

7/15 of our top 300 recruit are OOS
3/6 of our top 150 recruits are OOS

ESPN. There shotty reporting has made them look retarded when they try to give information about LSU. Remember Herbstreit breaking the news that Miles had accepted the Michigan job in '07?

Every year they get farther and farther behind to how good the players in LA are. They can say what they want, but in the end LSU is still winning an alot of games and in the NC hunt.
