No one seems to mind losing good Louisiana talent to out of state schools because LSU is replacing them with out of state recruits that most fans perceive as better talent.

The biggest potential problem that could come out of letting good home grown kids go elsewhere is that overtime in-state kids might not be as loyal to the Tigers as they are or have been in the past.

Shurburtt doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. LSU has a great chance for Reed and Wright.

Or, they could treasure the opportunity to be one of the select.

I agree with the statement about Mauti being a bigger loss than McKnight. I remember reading something a few weeks ago where Joe McKnight was pushing his brother towards LSU, or something like that.

Also, I watched the ESPN 7-on-7's from Disney's Sports Complex, Trovon Reed was pulling passes out of the sky from Munchie Legeaux. No wonder we didn't offer him.

LSU last year almost signed Dexter Pratt out of Navasota. He's been charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Another kid Joe Mitchell, his academic standing came into question late last week when when the school received a tip that his grades from Katy (Texas) Morton Ranch High School could have been altered to ensure entry.

"Joe Mitchell is heading back to Houston," Gundy told the Oklahoman on Tuesday. "He's got some personal issues he's got to take care of. We learned more about it today."

Thats two that left the state of Tx. For now, one is returning.
