Quote from ESPN :
"Shepard is much further along as a passer than Terrelle Pryor was at this stage, and Shepard is more explosive. He's the type of player any college program would want to get his hands on the ball as often as possible because he is a gamebreaker. He will be given every opportunity to remain at quarterback, but also has the elite skills to play a number of spots which gives him possibly the biggest value of any prospect in this class."

Possibly the best college coach. Honest, loyal, family oriented...these are all adjectives that could be used to describe Les Miles. They definitely are not words one could use to describe most other coaches in the SEC. Did I mention the man has guided his team to more victories in his tenured time span than say... Bear Bryant.

You know what, when you think about what this conference has done since 20001 and 02, I can truly say I will be more proud of a 4th place finish in our conference than a championship in all the others..We may be down, but like all great champions, NOT FOR LONG

MIKE THE TIGER!
LSU IS THE ONLY UNIVERSITY TO HAVE A REAL TIGER!
Pictures

Fun Facts about the History of Mike
In 2005, a new $3 million habitat was created for Mike. The Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) raised funds, entirely from private sources, to subsidize the construction project. The habitat features state-of-the-art technologies and includes among its amenities lush plantings, a waterfall, a flowing stream that empties into a wading pond, and rocky plateaus. The new habitat ranks among the largest and finest Tiger preserves in the country and expanded Mike's home from 2,000 to 15,000 square feet. It also features research, conservation, and husbandry programs, as well as educational, interpretive, and recreational activities. Mike's new home can be viewed via the live Tigercam.[19]
