Rape charges still not filed re: Emmitt Williams. Is there a chance for LSU?
Looks like it's not over yet!
Does anyone know if WW's offer to Williams still stands? Does this board still want him? Remember Devin White's situation in HS? Now we have possibly one of the best LB's in LSU football history!!

The girl never did want charges brought. It's some other dumb who're who told the college about an incident.
If the state is waiting on the girl, it ain't happening.

Serious question. Admitted what? Did he admit to having sex with someone? or Did he admit to raping someone? One is definitely a crime. The other may or may not be

Sexual assault investigations are notoriously slow. They can take years to resolve (I've heard about cases that take 3-4 years).
I've only read the alleged victim's side of the story, but it's a pretty bad account. I'm not sure if they had a previous sexual relationship, but I don't think they had. Regardless...her side of the story is pretty much straight up rape. I haven't read anything about his side of the events. But just because he's playing and hasn't been charged doesn't mean he's innocent or will definitely be cleared.
Obviously, we should reserve judgment until the whole story is out, but the information that's been reported to this point is decidely against him.

I can't believe the talent we would have on this team if we got him in this class. Will Wade is the man!
