2024 LSU quarterback commit Colin Hurley will be back in Baton Rouge this weekend unofficially to help recruit for the Tigers. It’s a busy weekend with another OL/DL camp as well as the program’s 7-on-7 tournament.

He’s been a key recruiter for the 2024 class since announcing his intentions to head to Baton Rouge. Offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock and quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan were in attendance for his spring game last month.

Hurley will be back again June 23 weekend to help recruit the likes of four-star defensive back Cai Bates, five-star wideout Cam Coleman and more.

“I really feel like this team is on a come-up after making it to the SEC championship and a 10-win season,” Hurley told On3 this spring. “He (Kelly) showed why he’s the top coach in the college football world. He’s a winner. That’s who players want to play for and make it to the national championship. I really feel like that’s where this program is going… I feel like the development is there.

Next weekend, he heads to the Elite 11 Finals after earning his spot at the Oxford (Miss.) regional stop for the prestigious fraternity. The event, which will celebrate its 24rd year in 2023, brings together the country’s elite signal-callers for three days of competition and training in Los Angeles in June. He just wrapped up an impressive showing at the QB Retreat camp last weekend.
