EE are signing financial papers at their committed universities, not opening their recruitment back up. Sounds like this ship has sailed, add another tally up to the LSU admins side for jacking up the recruiting oppo of a life time.

Exactly and he wouldn't be doing it right before the dead period either. He's doing it because he doesn't want to hear anymore LSU. Bizarre.

LSU and the home school is still a better option than a&m..

a&m is a lesser school, a terrible defense, and in a worse situation right now.

This is so weird.

Holy hyperbole

LSU was predicted to top the USC class from a few years back as having equal to or more five start players and the highest point total in the history of 247s existence. You ever seen LSU do that before???

Didn't think so

I come in peace.

Caron Baham, a 3 star who also plays for John Ehret, decommitted from Mizzou today and had some crystal ball pics to Arkansas today. Does anyone know if they were close/friends?

Again, not trying to be a dick.

That's what I am saying is so weird about this! MD retweeted his decommit from Mizz, before he later made his own decommit..

That is so odd for them to both do it the same day and pretty much type up a similar message..

could he be going for a ratings boost like Derrius Guice did last year?

Didn't Eason kinda of do the Same thing with Georgia and Florida, just didnt officially decommit? On the flip side, the kicker Florida just got had Bama and Florida as the finalist even though he had just decommited a few days prior

Kinda, because he did later reaffirm his commitment..

Too much power for these young kids. This is why you see them cry and transfer when they aren't kings of the school year one. Recruiting is the Kardashians of sports. Entitled for nothing. Drama for fun.

We'll have to wait until signing day. I don't freak out over anything. With that said, for everyone asking for immediate changes, you can't expect to hold onto what a coaching staff worked on for at least a couple of years even if there was a change. Can't have it both ways. The fiasco with Alleva, the leak, media, BOS, committee, legislature, F. King Allexander, Governor, etc made it almost a certainty this class would not remain the same. This staff is doing what they can to stop the bleeding. See how it plays out.....

Linebacker is A&M's weakest position as well.

The problem is........LB is LSUs weakest position BECAUSE OF CHAVIS! One of the best Ds in history in 2011.......he signed 3 LBs since for LSU. ZERO in the last 2 years.

Trying to get an offer for his buddy De'Jon Harris from either TAMU or LSU. If either school offers that's where they'll go. If both schools offer they'll pick LSU.

That's true. Didn't Guice also decommit from us last year until he ultimately signed with us in the end? Either way, I'm not worried about Divinity. He is just doing this as a publicity stunt. I'm pretty sure that even he realizes that Texas A&M would be an absolutely terrible choice compared to LSU.

Could be this. Not sure what to make of it. It would be nice if one of the real insiders could chime in here. Won't freak out though. Can't really. Its recruiting y'all and it is not for the faint of heart.

This game showed nothing we haven't seen before.

Guice decommitted for like 2 days. Jeryl Brazil decommitted for a week then recommitted, CJ Hampton decommitted from Ole Miss only to recommit a couple weeks later with a big announcement, Daylon Mack recommitted to A&M, Jeremy Hill decommitted and recommitted after flirting with AU, La'El kind of decommitted. shite Eason this year didn't publicly decommit from UGA, but he was about as open as you can get before publicly reaffirming his commitment. People acting like it never happens apparently haven't been following recruiting the last couple years
