I know they are doing there best hopefully he flips if not at least they tried
Why is everybody being negative we've always had a shot he's from Louisiana. If devonta commits to lsu everyone will eat crow because most said he was gone or 100% bama

Wasn't his father (and mother) upset with the early commitment because they had reinforced that they didn't wanted him to stick with it?

I wouldn't be that surprised if they push him to stick with the Gumps after he already decommitted from us.

I'm still working under the presumption that the tide, pardon the pun, is against us on this one. I have no info, hence the presumption.

I think his plan all along has been to go all landon Collins on Bama and make us all wet ourselves.

Not just the pinned tweet, he erased every bama retweet he had and all his tweets about Alabama. Guice doing work. We need Dylan. Most important recruit this year.

He also set his Instagram to private. Well once he accepted my request to follow him I looked at his page and there are no bama pictures. There is that one with Saban, but I have a hard time believing he never posted anything of current players/the stadium. He likely deleted those recently.

He has deleted everything Bama related and removed the pinned tweet pic with Saban. You don't just do that for shits and giggles. Takes a lot of time to go and delete every single one of those retweets and posts. Something is definitely up for him to have removed all that.

Dylan's Mom said this a year ago this week, which I saved for future reference, knowing that this topic would annoy the shite out of me for the next year. Read it.:

quote:

First off no one needs a card out. It's simple... Dylan will go to wherever school he chooses to go to. What's crazy is none of the people on this board really know without a doubt where he will go bc you are not Dylan, Ed or myself. Your all making assumptions based on what we allow you to know. Dylan clearly stated that LSU is not the only school in the US meaning just that but everyone took that to mean that "Bama it is"! Again you are wrong.

Secondly... I never wanted Dylan to commit to any school. Dylan made a decision based on his 15 year old mind at the time. He will be committed when he signs on NSD not a minute before. So until then, no one knows where he's going to attend school. He's not being disloyal at all. But for some of these grown men to think he owes them anything is crazy.

Just like these posters can say whatever they want to on these boards and people run with it... Dylan has the right to post his opinions on his social media. If he shouldn't be offended by fake poster, then real fans shouldn't be offended but him calling out the naysayers.

It's simple guys... We read this board as well as others but clearly none of you or them will have an impact on what school Dylan chooses. He will choose the best fit for him. I personally find it hilarious that so many people think they know what's going on when they don't

Now that's a solid source.

No one knows what's going to happen until the papers are signed.

Same thing for the coaching search.

I've always felt Dylan would choose to stay home but the last few months have pretty much given little cause for hope. Saban has a way to mesmerize young men and make them feel they are the single most important thing in the world to him although as most everyone knows, they are merely another expendable name.

Dylan is going to be great anywhere he goes - playing for LSU he will become an instant hometown hero as well. I hope coach O can sway him to stay home. I truly believe that if Dylan picks LSU he'll look back some day, remember the first time he came out of the tunnel to be greeted by the LSU fans and know it was the best decision of a lifetime.

We are stacked on the DL as much as any school in the country. If things go our way this cycle, we will have even more depth in the trenches. Everything starts with the pressure at DL and in a 3-4 base, the LB's get the stats.

Assuming DM is a 3 year player, will he get more game reps at LSU or Bama? That seems pretty obvious but does DM see it that way. He has a better chance at a NC at Bama and that may be his deciding factor. He has a better opportunity to be "the guy" at LSU and that may ultimately lead to the same outcome. Saban is the best recruiter ever but he's finally starting to experience what happens when you have a roster full of 5* players. Is he selling the best opportunity for the individual player or the best opportunity for Saban?

Is Saban recruiting for Bama's needs or is he recruiting to keep elite LB's off of other rosters? How many LB's does Bama have with =/+ talent to DM and how many LB's does LSU have with =/+ talent. Recruiting is more about deception than honesty. This is how I see the situation with DM's recruitment...if Saban was recruiting against Saban (Bama vs LSU) he'd make it a slam dunk for LSU.
