I’m not sure why anyone is surprised right now if you follow recruiting closely each year. Same rollercoaster story every year with 17-18 year old kids who have no idea what they want. Long way until both signing days. Lots will happen and change, both good and bad, leading up to that point.

We desperately need LB’s this cycle. We only have 3 or 4 scholarship LB’s on roster.
I’m pretty sure we’re still recruiting a good instate LB like Brooks, even if it’s not being reported on recruiting sites.

I don't know if I agree that it's as much a kid not knowing what he wants, as it is the influence of a whole coaching staff pitching their school and being on their campus, and seeing and taking in everything that is ethical and unethical, and everything that goes along with a visit to a big time college football program. I think the persuasiveness of a coaching staff and players can be very strong for a 17 year old kid to resist.

I member when a large percent of our fans said jimbo wasn’t a threat lol

Yeah people are under delusion if they think he's not a threat.
Regardless of how he performs at A&M, he can recruit. If we look at the recruiting pool like a pie, he's taking a bigger slice out of it, leaving less for us than we were getting before. Of course it becomes more difficult to compete with him in the SEC.

NO!!!! Kardell has LSU in his veins. There's plenty of good runningbacks in this years class. Losing Emery isn't going to hurt unless Davis flips (which isn't happening), or an injury to a current back. Having a great runningback versus a good runningback won't be the difference to winning a SEC championship or a NC. LSU had two of the best runningbacks in LSU history and couldn't win shite. What does bother me is losing an instate player that LSU seriously wants. I'm sure Georgia pitched championships and a great Oline to Emery. If Brooks does flip I'm sure LSU has a player in that same position they can bring in. But Kardell is LSU!!! He will be a catalyst that helps beat Bama and bring championships back to the bayou. There's plenty of very good players in Louisiana high schools that want to see LSU beat Saban and win championships. LSU must beat the odds this coming season and win games. These players want to win championships and until this staff proves they are good enough to win championships they will lose players they want. If LSU does what the oddsmakers are predicting, Orgeron may not have a job in 2019.

Brooks ain’t flipping. I don’t know who you got your message from but he does need to be shot.
