His team is getting destroyed by Catholic High of Baton Rouge. He hasn’t impressed me one bit. I think Ahmad Breaux is a way better player. I haven’t seen him make one play tonight

I’ve been saying this. He’s not worthy of that ranking and he’s not the best player in this state. We’re not missing much with him not wanting to be here.

He made one about halfway through the 4th qtr.

You can see his mentality during interviews. He's painfully shy and plays that way. Someone is going to have their hands full trying to get him to play nasty.

His ranking is based on potential, he hasn’t even touched his potential yet, with the right coaching he will be a good piece for a DL, has so much room to grow and a high ceiling that’s what scouts see in him not what he is but what he could be

That’s not really descriptive of a five star athlete. I don’t see him immediately challenging for playing time or making any impact for the first two years. He’s more mid to lower four in my opinion.

Agreed. I said that in week 1 when I watched him against LCA. Apparently he hasn’t improved at all.

He reminds me of Ed Alexander. Very shy and standoffish and despite immense talent, strength and upside he doesn’t have the “dog” in him. Sure he will be a productive college player, but like Ed probably not live up to his ranking.

You cant coach a high motor or a mean streak. Either you have it or you dont. I love drew Maddox at OG in hattiesburg and hes the same way. Hes a stud and has the mean streak. He just takes plays off.

Watched the game last night. I could tell after the first drive he was too slow, not physical enough, played too high, and loafed too much to be a 5 star and the #1 player in LA. He’s an offer just on size and body type but definitely will need a lot of work to start in the SEC in a few years.

I always wondered where his secret footage was to be so highly touted. I know everyone was enamored with his stature like Mason Smith, but it's never looked like Jalen Carter from UGA a couple years ago who was dominate.
Still time, but that's just my assessment. Figured others were experts and see things I'm not.
