on 1/19/18 at 4:24 pm to 1723lalemy understanding is that it's 3 but LSU is still trying to appeal the kicker we signed. time is running out but there seems to be a slight possibility that we can sign 4.
the longer this "rumored appeal" takes the less chance we have of signing 4 no matter what. no big recruit is going to let himself be left out.

Yes but he isn't signed yet. The question was if we can take 4 on signing day. He would be one of those 4 IF he signs (which everything points to that he will indeed become a Tiger)

I'm sorry guys, i misworded my question. I knew we were taking Joseph, hence we could only take 3 MORE on signing day. I should have asked can we take 4 more NEW recruits(Joseph not being one of the 4) i'm assuming Washington is out.... otherwise we'd only have room for 2(Joseph and the kicker being the 22 & 23)

Right...that's a totally different question
To answer, most likely we will only be able to take 3 more than Joseph on signing day. That seems to be the way the coaching staff is going about it. But no one truly knows for sure still.

Right now we have Joseph plus 3 more spots. IF we miss on Surtain Jr. AND Goodrich, we will reach out to Washington again to see if he still wants to be a Tiger on Signing Day. Right now though, the plan is that he is going to sign elsewhere.
Joseph Foucha would also be a backup plan if the above 3 head elsewhere.

Correct...seems like he's a backup plan if Goodrich/Foster don't work out. Or if we magically get the clearance that would have made it no problem if we would have taken the kicker last year and counted towards a different year's count. Seems to be some confusion about the 25 hard cap put in this year.
