Does anyone know how the new salary cap will work?

You can't cap NIL the only thing that would work is a draft, contracts, and a salary cap.

Would be really difficult to do.
Unfortunately the way this is going is that the government will likely get involved and pass some form of legislation.
Maybe Trump can be swayed on this issue as he is a CFB fan and maybe someone in his circle can tell him a big sport is being destroyed.

Realistically I don’t see how you can cap an NIL. You would effectively be telling someone that they can’t earn more money which just seems very anti-capitalist/american as a concept. I think where rules can be created is that grey area that exists between a true NIL endorsement deal and schools just flat out buying players. I don’t know how you solve that right now though.
I think we all knew the situation would be fricked and unfortunately, it is very fricked right now.
