Do we have a legit shot at Shavar Manuel?

We need DE's in this class and he's teammates with Saivion Smith. What percent of a chance do we have with him?

Either we get him or we don't.
50% right there.

I would say we have a better shot with SS on board

Well, we still have our football program, so that's positive step #1.

We also offered the other DE/LB and Kahlil Ladler has us in his top 5 so it must help that we are in his presence

His uncle said LSU is not a factor

As of right now. I would say no but things can change. If LSU dont land him i think they will be ok.

We aren't a factor yet. Funny his uncle says that but Manuel was debating visiting LSU last weekend instead of FSU. To me that makes us a factor even if its a minor one at the moment. I consider his comments lip service and nothing more. Count out Raymond and Orgeron with 11 months to go if you want. Not saying we will get Manuel but Raymond and O will press the hell out of him and they will get a visit out of him. After that we will see.

Is his Uncle who raises him?

Half the guys we are expecting today will sign elsewhere next Feb. They will be replaced with players as good or better in many cases that many of us have never heard of. Don't sweat the small stuff right now. Focus on who we have and the guys that are visiting.
As for Manuel, right now it's probably very little chance. Another year with Smith in his ear could very easily change things. Everyone thought there was very little chance of nabbing Smith just a week ago.

The way the last couple of months have gone, we may just sign the whole damn IMG class. I have never seen so many unexpected commits in a short period of time. This will truly be a great your to be a Tiger fan!

Some kids want to get away from home. Is he one of those?

According to his crystal ball we have a 3% chance with FSU as the heavy Favorite. Crystal balls mean nothing though and still plenty of time until Feb. of 2016. I would assume he is one of Orgeron's highest priorities?

He named FSU his leader after visiting them the weekend of our Jr Day

I'm not saying he have a legit shot, but his last pick was to us and it was from Demetric Warren. He's consistantly pretty solid with his picks, we shall see.

He's teammates with plenty of good players. Don't think Saivion's commitment matters
