Is this recent news? All anyone is reporting is him saying he has been here so much, he may not visit.

I hope you're right , we took the family to the UA game and left a little bewildered . But have hope for the future , we have a lot of talent

I'll say it again. I do not care about other programs.

It doesn't matter if you care about other programs or not. The fact that EVERY other program in history does it and will always do it shows that it isn't preventable. I assure you we will not sign a single player that the coaches do not think has the POTENTIAL to be a player one day. Just because they aren't first choice doesn't mean that they may not end up being studs. Some guys aren't first choice but are extremely athletic and raw. Some of them could develop into better players than our highly touted recruits. There will always be a few that don't contribute but there will also always be one or more that are thought as "fillers" who become important players to the team.

Well I don't follow recruiting like most of you guys , but when you hear 5/5 non atop , you expect to the best day . I knew we weren't getting Noil . But I was hopeful for 4/5 is all . I was just taken by surprise a little . Not the end of the world

Spot on. Coaches would only offer a player if they think he has the potential to play and be productive.

Guys in the class now minus the kicker that doesn't even play in high school has quality players but you can book it LSU will sign 5-6 players that will never play a down of football this year. Les struck out more times than not this year.

I don't consider 3 star guys that had offers from other major programs to be garbage or zero impact players.

Saying LSU didn't strike out more times than not this year would be stupid on your part

Look everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just think this year we will settle for more players that coaching staff didn't really want but will have to take to fill the class. That's all. This class still has potential to do LSU a lot of good in the future.

So you are predicting we pick up a bunch of 2 and 3 star nobodies to complete this class, duly noted.

I see no reason historically or currently to be so pessimistic.

look at it this way. nfl teams draft players that only play on special teams. every player does not have to be a future nfl player or a college star to make a contribution to LSU winning football games.

I'm almost certain Young ends up at TAMU. and proceeds to haunt us for the next 4/years.
