Dude looks early 30's.

Bo loves these kids and wants to develop. Man if we can get the defensive line play to match our offensive. We are going to be great for a long time.

That's a big boy. You get him into a college S&C program and he's going to be impossible to move.

Our hopes would be he turns into Sweat

TBH, I'd rather Murphy. Sweat was great at Texas, and I'm not taking anything away from him, but a stable of guys like Murphy that can stuff the run + have the ability to rush the passer is a problem for other teams.

All lsu.
Bo is going to get one, maybe 2 more dts from Texas.

He visits LSU the week before.. Gotta love having the last visit and seems like Bo Davis has been after him.

There are very few DT that can actually rush the passer, that’s not the job of the position. I’d be way more than happy to land a bunch of run stuffing DT’s. That’s the job of a DT, eat blocks, take over gaps, and stuff the run.

They can serve dual purpose. Look at guys like Wingo, or going further back, guys like Glenn Dorsey, Lavalais, Booger, Sam Montgomery (and yes, they're the best we've ever had), they had that ability to get pressure and rack up sacks, even if not their primary responsibility.
Building that kind of dual abilities is feasible and should be the goal.

Montgomery was not a DT, pure DE, a position in which pass rushing is expected. DTs still need to collapse the pocket and provide pressure on pass rushing situations.

You guys are making my point… how many good DTs we’ve had over time that do both.

Kyle Williams and Oliver Lawrence.

Getting him and Zion Williams in the next month would certainly help the DL.
