We have the number 1 punter (unranked) “bringing down” our ranking. Y’all need to calm down. Ranking don’t always matter. Let them fill positions of need with players they believe in. They haven’t given us a reason not to believe in them yet.

I believe you’re wrong. He doesn’t count against the ranking. The DT out of Florida brings it down some but he is a nice player.

Cristobal is an impressive recruiter. They're building something great.

I’m not wrong. If the punter didn’t take up a spot then we could get another guy in the 90s to bring up the ranking. Regardless he is taking a spot that could go to a star player that y’all seem to care about so much. Look at the fit of the players and don’t be a star gazer.

You are wrong. Would you rather us lose the field position battle?? Punters matter. If they want someone badly enough they will let him go. Pretty simple.

First of all, that’s not how the rankings system works—it is impossible for your class to get worse by adding a player. The only thing that *could* happen by adding someone like Peyton Todd is for your “average score” to go down—however, this isn’t happening either, bc Peyton Todd isn’t ranked and thus does not factor into our average score. So you’re wrong twice

Welcome to 2020. Oregon has owned the Pac 12 for most of the last 11 years since the Pete Carroll dynasty first started falling apart in 2009. This isn’t anything new.

Yeah and they really havent done a whole lot with their “Owning” of that shite conference. Seems like they’re recruiting on a high level again kinda like they were with chip kelly, that’s all I’m sayin. Cristobal seems like a nice fit and is recruiting pretty good, might be able to get them to the next level

They never recruited at a high level with Chip. He never recruited the type of defensive players that Cristobal is bringing in.

You’re right but he did get a lot of offensive weapons. I’m just making the point that cristobal is doing a good job and recruiting his arse off.

They’re recruiting at a higher level than Chip Kelly, his up tempo offense was something new and they way he ran it made them better than the talent. Cristobal is bringing in better talent with a defensive physical style, they will get much better, than a flash in the pan.
