You know you're wrong. Our DEs are all less than 260 lbs. He's a tackle at LSU. He's literally the perfect size and ability for a 5 technique. Tapp is the edge rusher in LA this year.

You do realize you have a strong side end right? Maybe wiggins gets too big for end but at this time he is an end

Just because an end playing now is 260 doesn't mean every end is going to be 260. Those players were meant for a 3-4 anyway.

I believe we have a battle on our hands, but the fact that he’s a DL and in our back yard, I give O and Carter a good chance to land him. Early PT will be there next year at DE. We just have to buckle down.

I know it’s BS ...but looking at his Twitter
It’s no more BS than judging how much he likes LSU ...by how much he likes Jordy Culotta lol

99.9999999% sure our big man will stick with his commitment to us . Much better chance of coach O inviting lil Nicky to his sons wedding than him decomitting.

Long way to go hopefully. A dominant season from our DL could help a lot here.

are we potentially overreacting to a teenager not feeling like doing an interview?

He could have easily declined or said no to the interview if he didn’t feel like doing it.

He was completely different when Jordy interviewed him a couple weeks ago.

Sounds like this radio show is going to the well too often.

From my experience, football recruits get tired of talking to the same media members in a hurry, unless it’s someone who has influence on player rankings.

When I was working in this field, I thought I was well connected at John Curtis, and then several of their prospects quit answering my calls and unfollowed me on social media after I had done multiple articles on them.

To put it in perspective, Wiggins probably gets dozens of calls & texts every day from different LSU, Alabama & other schools’ 247 & Rivals sites.

Any BCS school that has offered him has sites with recruiting writers who are always trying to get an update.

Not to mention local radio and independent guys like Lonn, and constant DMs from fans.

Then, if you heard about it, you would be complaining about that.

Great insight Mr Clean!
I remember hearing Hannigriff and Moscona call Jordy “stalker Jordy” because he is not afraid to call a guest or try to get in contact with somebody like a obsessed teenage girlfriend lol.

To be fair, the media is under pressure to get constant updates from these players.

That’s why I said on here a while back that I would never want to be a recruiting writer again.

Your livelihood depends on teenage recruits responding timely to your texts and calls.

If 247 has an update on you, then the Rivals subscribers are banging on the door wanting their update.

If you get beat on a commitment story by one hour by the competition, then fans start saying you’ve lost your access.

Heaven forbid you’re out for an evening with your wife and someone happens to commit in that time frame.

People like Shea Dixon have to stay constantly attached to their phones even when they go to sleep or have family time.

I have a lot of respect for those who do it. I’m sure it was a grind before but I can’t imagine working in the recruiting business after recruits got on social media.

Great to hear. I personally think we gonna blow away our previous class total in points on 247 composite which was just shy of 300 points .I just did my mock class and end up with 314.64. Plus I know several of our guys gonna get a considerable bump on 3rd week in August. Maybe 2 may get small decreases. I mean no disrespect to the kids that recommitted but pretty sure they may drop a lil after their camp performances, will be interesting to see.

Great to hear.

Imo i think most of the in state kids are locks minus wiggins.

Alabama scares me with him. Guess we will see.
