No, we don't want to know bullshite rumors who people try and pass off as fact. This is a recruiting board, not a rumor board.

You guys can shoot the messenger, but I am just passing along some information from that is from a reputable source. These guys happen to be close to the Navasota program. They say he is not going to LSU. I understand there is still some cloudyness as to the reason.
Then that would be a mistake for Pratt. He wanted to play at LSU and should stick with that. LSU will have other RB's coming in so its not like we are stuck with no one. I understand feelings are hurt, but unless Miles did something to intentionaly hurt Pratt, then he cant hold LSU responsible for this clusterfrick.

there is a rule on the number of mid term you can take. it has to do with the 85 limit at any one time and what seniors graduate at mid-term. but it does make common sense that miles would take pratt instead of a juco punter if there was a limitation problem.

Let me tell you what is more likely than all the things we've heard thus far.

It is more likely that the Clearinghouse issues originate in the same place as the unsubstantiated rumors.

I'd be willing to bet that his high school dropped the ball. The same high school quick to float the bullshite. The one whose high school coach has a sibling that has something to gain in all of this.

I will go on record as saying I will be extremely disappointed if any fault lies with LSU, Clearinghouse or otherwise. But, if any of these allegations that have been tossed around were true, I would expect to have heard directly from the source. Through a relative, coach, writer, etc.

Looks like Aggie Fan04 tapped out. Another one bites the dust.

Is it sad that moments like these make me proud to be a Tiger fan?

Yes, that is exactly right. That is the issue A&M has with Mid-terms this year. We don't have room because of this. I would agree that it would be dumb not to take Pratt over a punter, but just reporting what is out there.

post all you want, man

I know there is some smoke here with Pratt's situation... I wonder myself what is really going on.

But obviously when you come to an LSU board as a new sign-up and say that you are POSITIVE that Pratt will not be at LSU you need to be prepared to take some heat from some posters

You know damn well if I signed up at Texags and posted that LSU was offering Jonathan Stewart a 'ship and he would be a Tiger that I would get flamed just like you are getting flamed here

So it's not the 25 limit like you stated before. Want to keep fishing until you find something that sticks?

You can sign as many as you want, but you can't take 32. Alambama takes a lot of kids with grade risk. A&M used to take a lot more grade risk. We'd sign a ton and 10 wouldn't make it in. We've stopped that since Fran.

all i know is the first pay site that gets an interview from him will get a nice scoop. i'd really like to know what the situation truly is. too much smoke for it to be just a clearinghouse issue.

oops, messed up the link LINK

also, the rule states that you can give up to 25 schollies per academic year, as long as the total number for the team does not exceed 85. so you can take as many as you like, as long as you don't violate this rule.

The sad thing is that all these sympathetic aTm fans may actually be hurting the source of their sympathy.

Assume for a moment that the kid might be embarrassed about the Clearinghouse issues, and here these yahoos are running all kinds of wild speculation that will force him to have to publicly address the situation.

I'll add this. I think it is fricked up what the clearing house has done here. You have a kid that, by all accounts, is a smart student, good person, and a hard worker. In fact, this has lead to him working hard enough to finish school a semester early in an effort to continue his dream of playing football and receiving a higher education. Now because some conspiracy theorist from the clearing house deems something is a rye a kid is made to suffer. In cases like this, the NCAA has completely lost touch.

Is there a way to find out who these "people" at the clearing house are and where they went to college?
Just Jokin

Hope he still comes to LSU.

Do we really know that the Clearinghouse is the holdup?

Could it be that his paperwork was sent in late?
