mauck made some awful plays that definitely don't come from a manager

like throwing a pick 6 on the first play in the biggest game of the season(ole miss)

and fumbling on the 1 in the NC game

LSU showed that superior athletes can shut it down

yeah when they have a month to prepare only for this offense

it's an amazing change of pace in the regular season

along with making too many positive plays (like 28 TDs in 2003)

mauck and flynn were gunslingers who didn't have great talent

not top talent, especially as a thrower

he had a mediocre, inaccurate arm

how has his arm developed since then?

I think his arm was average, kind of hard to objectively look at it following up JR

At the risk of getting this thread back on track, I'm hopeful that LSU gets another shot at Pratt. I really like what Pratt can do as a pass catcher coming out of the backfield.

I almost wonder if Les and staff questioned or not whether he could really be a ball carrier for us after ealuating his senior season... afterall, Pratt's stock was dropping by most accounts

Maybe he asked Chavis if he wanted him as a LB prospect and Chavis, who seems to like speedy undersized LBs, may not have liked the potential of converting Pratt.. and that may have lead to something

its unlikely, obviously, but to get back to the subject of Pratt I had to throw it out there

This post is thread is now 10 pages... i have a couple of questions since i am out of the loop.

1. Why could Prat not stay on campus?

2. Why is everyone saying Prat is no longer going to LSU?

3. When is the last day that he has to sign the paperwork if he is coming?

1. He can't receive financial assistance if he hasn't cleared. He would have to pay for everything

2. There's a new story out of Texas quoting his coach. Another Pratt thread on here.

3. I think he could technically wait untill fall registration, but realistically LSU would like to have it on signing day

Not flaming, but how do you explain the fact that he beat out Brohm to be Arron Roger's backup in GB?

Time for you to go back to the Rant & whine about Keiland Williams & then start talking about 2006.

I clicked on this thread wondering why the Dexter Pratt thread had made it to 10 pages . . . then I realized that SFP was arguing the definition of a "game manager". groundbreaking stuff.
