At the Nike Opening, White was 258 pounds yet had a vertical of 38 inches and ran a laser timed 4.49 40. LINK

No, this is just wrong. He wasn't recruited for what he's going to contribute next year; it's the two or three years after that. The year after next we'll have Guice, Brossette, and Ducre. That's ONE stud, one who was shaky in a very little playing time, and a third who hasn't seen the field. That is NOT "stacked".
I expect White to be a running back at LSU.

I watched some film from that event, I watched him cover 190-200 lb RBs out of the backfield, it was amazing, it didn't look right, before the rep you'd think he can't cover this guy, no way. He would end up making a ton of money at LB

I remember watching Beckwith in the UA game and not knowing much about him. I was a little more distant that year with recruiting.
He laterally tracked 2 5* RBs to the sideline when they had angles and ground on him and took them down for no gain. I knew nothing about him and remember saying "holy shite that guy is insanely fast" then I googled him and realized he was so big and I was so pumped.
