I cant wait to see Patterson get on the field. If he can add weight and power and keep the speed and quickness he is going to be nasty.

That actually is a pretty good comparison IMO.

Only going to get better, too. Everyone left on the board is a pretty big name. Easily a Top 3 class with Gilmore, Williams, Beckwith, Willis, Jefferson and Robinson.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them try with either Herron or even Patterson. Regardless, after getting screwed by Davis last year, staff responded in a big way to shore up DE depth and talent.

Are we going to take a safety in this class?

You mean another one? I thought Cutrer (sp?) and Diarse could both play there and I know we are still recruiting Goodman.

This is purely speculation, but based on who's left on the board and who's the most likely to commit (i.e. Willis, Jefferson and Robinson), I'm guessing they would either try to convert Willis or Robinson or try Diarse out there and wait for next year's ridiculous crop of DBs to really fill out depth.

Sorry forgot about Curter, I was specifically wondering about Goodman. I thought we could take 26 this year

I know Goodman's taking a visit. Just don't see him ultimately leaving the West Coast though.

Cutrer is way to skinny. He is only 155 and has good hips aways so he will be a CB.

If we get Willis and Goodman are the safety prospects we are after.

Other than that I don't know maybe Rickey Jeafferson?

2014 is full of potential safety tallent: Tony Brown, Edward Paris, Brandon Simmons, Hootie Jones. All have the talent to play anywhere in the secondary.

Tennessee also offered, they recruited him for the jack LB.. In the end he knew where he had the best chance to succeed

Cutrer has the frame for safety even with his hips. He's a prime candidate for a redshirt. His first shot will be at safety.

Probably too small; think he sticks at CB. Diarse is a much better candidate for safety, in my opinion.

Going to be a ridiculous DB class.

Certainly has the potential to play there.

True be told, no one really knows where Diarse or White will play because they project at both WR and DB.
