i actually liked patterson's film at TE, I'm probably one of the few on here who'd prefer him there. Especially over this guy.

If I remember correctly Rodney Reed was a TE swithced to OL and that worked out pretty well.

Rodney played on the OL for West Monroe. Andrew Whitworth was the TE for WM at that time that moved to OT his senior year.

I'm just guessing but I think the thought with Spencer's move is to take advantage of his better than average athletic ability and his mean streak as a blocker. Don't think his offer is legit unless he camps though. Also think it may be null and void if/when Melvin Jones commits. Jones is able do anything this kid can do but with better athletic ability. Just my take.
