i think Christ will be good down the road. has all the tools. that QB position has been clausens since he commited. Fat charlie has gone out of his way to please clausen who hasnt even shown anything. if he struggles this year expect to see Christ get some snaps

I realize that Jesus Christ is a big Notre Dame fan but he could be scared off by the QB depth of ND. He gets a lot of hype, but does he really have the size and mechanics to succeed on the FBS level? I think he'd be a better fit at a school like BYU.

JJ is better than him, so I'm not worried about it.

I'm starting to think Crist was overrated coming out and JJ was EXTREMELY underrated as a prospect.

Based on what we've seen at the end of last season and in the Spring this year, JJ might just be the real deal. I thought he was EXTREMELY raw when he came in, but my gosh its starting to look like his possible success a gamblers wet dream.

+1. EJ Manuel was also, very overrated. His popularity took a real push his senior year and after a couple camps. I remember when he selected florida state, he said it was because Bobby Bowden prayed with him, or for him, or something. I found that "colorful". I am sure Les would have "pinched a few beads" if he thought EJ would come.

Boy, he sured proved Weis wrong.

Most teams have this same effect on Weis's coaching.
