If you say it out loud, you realize how stupid it sounds for a DPOTY in a place like DFW to be a 3 star.
Yeah, but does he have mediocre passing stats in the NOLA Catholic league?

The dude is a 4 star in 247 composite and has offers from Bama, Oklahoma, Penn Stste, Oregon and others. I’m noticing a trend in 2024 class different than 2023 class, a lot of LSU’s lower ranked players have offers from Bama or Georgia, so what does that tell you. I watched the 3 star from New Iberia last year and he looked better than McKinley

No way this guy stays a 3 star

Write up from Aledo and Keys 2 INT game last night:
Davhon Keys steps up with shutdown defensive plays for Aledo
Davhon Keys steps up with shutdown defensive plays for Aledo
quote:
ALEDO — In a game loaded with offensive firepower, it was a defensive player, LSU pledge Davhon Keys, who produced the most decisive plays. The senior linebacker intercepted two passes, returning one for a 27-yard touchdown and setting up another to help Aledo defeat Parish Episcopal 50-35 in an intriguing season opener matching defending TAPPS and UIL state champions Friday night at newly-renamed Tim Buchanan Stadium.
“This was really big for our defense because Parish Episcopal has some top commits and playing this well gives me hope for our future,’’ said Keys.
quote:
Aledo scored a pair of backbreaking touchdowns midway in the opening period. Guillory (11 carries, 122 yards) finished a 75-yard drive with a nine-yard run and seconds later Keys made his game-changing pick-six for a 22-7 lead.
quote:
Parish Episcopal made it a two-score game four minutes into the second half on a leaping 15-yard touchdown catch by Crow. But with a chance to draw even closer Keys came up with his second interception to set off an Aledo run of 14 points to settle the issue.

You do know his speed is on the same line as players such as Patrick queen, NaKobe Dean, Roquan Smith? His verified speed is faster than Jon Beason when Beason was being drafted by the Panthers. I don’t people realize when they mention his speed they fail to mention his speed matches up with other LBs that was 4 and 5 stars

So I’m guessing NaKobe Dean wasn’t a 5 star and Keys is bigger height, weight and faster than Dean was going to UGA
