What's the difference between "Bama lock" and "Bama bound"?

I was going to say it just depends on which Gump you are talking to, but being this came from the same Gump, I have no idea haha.

All rational Bama posters are welcome. I would add that...in all honesty...TR probably "fits" best at Bama but I would prefer that he play outside of the SEC-West! That said, I also feel that Mike Ford "could" be better in the end.

Not flaming, but in Bama's scheme Sentimore would be a DE and Stinson is an OLB. Alabama

I'm sure every LSU fan on this board is really glad to know that.

You are correct that Ford could be better. TR could have a better career at AL with Ford having to wait his turn a little longer, but in the end Ford might be a better player and have a better Pro Career..we won't know for years.

Look at L. McClain from AL at Baltimore this year. 902 yards, 10 TDs...was not utilized at AL that much....looks like a stud in the NFL.

Yeah, Ford is definitely a promising recruit. But he's gonna have to wait his turn behind Charles Scott, that guy is a monster. But Trent is gonna have to split time with Mark Ingram too..

Agree. If I were TR, I'd definitely rather play in the Bama offense vs. the Florida "video game" offense. It's not even about the number of touches, either. I'd be more concerned with the perception from pro scouts regarding my preparation for an NFL offense. That type of an offense, over the course of 3-5 years, can have an effect on a player's "style of play"...changing a pro-style running back into a "scat back" or a finesse player. Come to think of it, the only Florida running backs I can think of that had any career to speak of in the NFL are Neal Anderson, Emmitt Smith, Errict Rhett (Florida ran a more pro-style offense when those guys were there), and Fraud Taylor. In fact, according to NFL.com the only Florida running back to even get drafted since the year 2000 was DeShawn Wynn in the 7th round of the 2007 draft.

See, it would be a simple choice if I were TR...and we don't even need to get into all of the RBs to come out of Bama...of course if TR were me, he'd be an LSU homer and would sign with the Old War Skule!
