Figured Scott was gone when they accepted the commitment of Little. All of the special teams scholarships are hurting the 85 limit right now. Don't feel great about Moffitt being on scholarship either.

yeah, we don't need any 6'5" 260 lb quick twitch athletes, I think he had good potential over next year or two to find his way into a DE spot

Orgeron needs to make room and suggested he enter the portal.
This and if he was a freak athlete coach would make sure there's a spot for him. Every kid on the team is a "freak" athlete if they're playing for LSU.

That's exactly what's happening. They're told to look elsewhere and I'm sure the coaches help them land softly on another team.

I agree with what you're saying but Scott actually fits the freak profile. Maybe it's work ethic or attitude. Don't know don't care but I can think of about 3-4 jrs or srs that should be in the block if we are asking kids to land softly. Start with Giles

Cause if you watch him in drills and scrimmage he has no bend.
