Missed one? Trust me, if we want him, we could snatch him up in a heartbeat. We have bigger fish to fry than him right now

This crap is getting as old as the the zach oliver threads. We get it, you think your hometown high school has the best QB in the country. If LSU wanted him he would have an offer.

Teddy Bridgewater
Jacoby Brissett
Cardale Jones

One of those three will be coming to us. We will be PERFECTLY fine without Dak. Hopefully for Dak's sake he saw what we did to Chris Relf and heads out the SEC

I am gonna go out on a limb and say I don't trust LSU's coaching staff to evaluate QB's with the highest regard. Not being offered may not have to do with talent, but he may not fit the type of QB that the staff is currently looking for

I agree; that is why after accounting for 5 touchdowns, he sat out the second half.

Your probably right that the coaches are looking for something different.

Yeah, not getting an offer doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't have the talent. The staff may just be looking for a different skill set.

It's just one of those things. I am a big fan of Dak and wish LSU would have offered. However, they did not want him, Dak is happy with MSU. Everyone moves on. Nothing to see here

Just curious what was the knock that LSU coaches found on Dak? Everything Ive read or seen on him he looks like a legit talent.

Does to me too. Most likely just felt he didn't fit into the system or had a bad camp.

How does he run the option? If he runs it well, he would not fit Crowton's system.

Undersized; not team leader; can't throw; can't run; not good under pressure; oh yeah based on 11 quarters in 4 games this year not progressing in play. He will be happy at MSU and We need to continue to go after OOS qbs and dismissed sofa swagga QBs that have proven to make the right plays on women in bars. At lease I've finally learned how to do a recruitment evaluation on TD.

His other offers are from LaTech, Memphis and North Texas!

There are often diamonds in the rough that are missed by big schools but in most cases that is an issue of a player wanting to play a different position - Marshall Faulk, Pat White etc...

If he were really that good at such an important position, with no other academic or off-the-field issues, then why are there no other BCS schools offering him, leave alone LSU.

I never said that LSU missed on QBs that are tearing it up elsewhere; or that ones others missed on are tearing it up at LSU.

Listen I'm a staunch LSU fan that will never bash like lot's of nega-tigers on TD, but I really can see the talent that Prescott has and he is an in- state prospect that has talent and just keeps getting better. My comments about him aren't just Haughton homerism. I've seen lots of QBs go through that system and he is special. Good leader good grade good stats; just would like to see hometown player playing for LSU and nothing wrong for promoting a kid that I've seen play for 4 years that is truly gifted vs. drooling over out of state kids that most of the ones on here that dismiss Prescott haven't seen play.

He wants to be at MSU and thats where he will be. As far as why havn't other big schools offered? I think that he would be getting those if he wasn't already committed strongly to MSU.( And I still think there will be some)

Brings to mind a former Haughton player that was rookie of the year in the NFL that played for NSU(Joe Delaney)

Go Tigers and Good luck to Mr. Prescott at MSU.
