and people compare chase daniel to brees because that's who pops into their head 1st and who they know, not neccesarily because it's the best comparison.

not JJ

JJ is 'mobile' but he has no instincts on the run, he's fricking horrible with the option or when he tries to scramble. Dak can run, knows how to, and can pick up tough yardage if he needs to. As for QB skills, I like the comparison to Jason Campbell.

Oh I see what you wanted. You wanted to trash our QB while building up State's recruit like he's gonna be all sec.

umm no. JJ is fine, he's not the problem at LSU, my point is he's not a runner.

Far as I know...no one has even offered yet. Strange that he's apparently gone unnoticed because he can sure throw.

He has alot of schools calling him. I don't believe any SEC schools are but, small D-1 have been on him since last year.

Well there was no doubt who the best qb was tonight. That should put to rest this thread on who is better. Dak played only the 1st half and had 3 tds in the air and one on the ground...Leppert left the game in the 3rd qtr(after being down 47-0) with what looked like a knee injury. Hope he is ok.

[link=( https://www.highschoolsports.net/local/Shreveport/article/20109110341)]LINK[/link]Hope Leppert is ok! He is a good QB and with some help could really show more of his talent; but Prescott looks to have far more talent and physical attributes at the position.

"It was a great catch," Prescott said. "I rolled left and didn't see anyone open, so I went to check back. I went to my furthest receiver and that was too far of a throw. Then I saw Jacobs. He made a great grab. Everything went well tonight, offense, defense, special teams."
