To answer the question, the "experts" are waiting to hear something definitive in their minds to submit a pick. If you read national sites, its always sayinh the battle is neck and neck so thats the info being fed. Bamas people feel very confident and to me thats telling. Those guys dont miss much. Still doesnt mean a done deal and thats why the cbs have been slow to come in. Long way to go.

We are happy for kids to leave the state if there is a better opportunity elsewhere. The reality of the matter is, if he has a career ending injury or is a bust, out of state schools won't take care of a local guy like a home town hero would be taken care of for life.
I work with a guy who is making 6 figures only because he is a former player. It surely wasn't because of his pe degree.

I don't think anyone is worth 2 scholarships under the current hard cap rules 25 scholarships. Only exception would be maybe a as close to a can't miss 5 star QB.

It is debatable under the current system. Under the set up when he he was brought in I could agree. At least LF27 has contributed on special teams and such. From I have heard about the other Sopsher he will only be a warm body.

Let's say that's true; I don't know if it is, or isn't. I'm doing hypothetical.
If it is... we should go another route. If he doesn't qualify, it still counts against our 25, he goes to JUCO, ends up at Bama or AU anyway. And since we're talking 2 scholarships to get zero contributors, it is not worth it.
IF there is a hint of that I say use the 'misfortune':
Publicly stop pursuing him, tell Ika it's because we're all in on him, and then go all out for him.
It MIGHT not be worth the risk if he is going to qualify. It definitely isn't if there's a reasonable chance he is not. If he is withholding his test scores or hasn't submitted his grades to compliance, assume he isn't going to qualify (another dirty trick played on us before).

This statement is impossible! We are not giving the brother 2 scholarships!!!
Only way brother gets a scholarship is if IS sends his papers in.
