Jacob Hood (OT, 3*, #370, Nashville, TN) - Per C. Simmons of Rivals, Hood included LSU in his top-6 on 2/7/2021. The other five (5) top programs include Baylor, Kentucky, Georgia, Georgia Tech, & Tennessee. The 6'8", 342 lb. tackle is ranked No. 370 by the 247sports composite.

It's pretty clear J. Hood likes coach 'O', quoted as follows when asked about LSU: "I definitely like coach 'O' a lot. We have been talking and he seems like a coach that really cares about his players. He is a very inspirational guy too."

Interestingly enough, J. Hood is ranked as the No. 51 OT by 247sports, which is seven (7) slots behind St. Aug's Cam East (No. 44 per 247sports).

Fisher Anderson (OT, 4*, #222, Franklin, TN) - Anderson included LSU in his top-15 that he dropped around 1/28/2021. Other top programs on his list include Baylor, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Oregon, Michigan, Penn St., & Tennessee. The 6'7", 275 lb. tackle is ranked No. 222 by the 247sports composite.

F. Anderson was on an unofficial visit in Baton Rouge back in March 2020 when the SEC announced the beginning of the "COVID-19 dead period" that remains in effect to this day. He posted on social media that he "got to do and see everything", and that he was "blessed to be able to be there right before all other visits were cancelled." According to a report on the visit, Anderson was able to get an up-close look at the then defending National Champions. It included a tour through the locker room and updated operations building, observation of a football practice, a visit with coach 'O', tour of campus, and more. Anderson was visiting with friends who are likewise being recruited by LSU, Keaten & Destin Wade. Keaten, a 4* LB out of Spring Hill, TN, announced yesterday that LSU made his top-10, so the visit was seemingly a big success. F. Anderson 247 profile

I've added these two (2) to my prior post about the remaining OL targets being pursued by LSU for class of 2022. Remaining 2022 OL targets

No doubt, stho381, bordering on too heavy IMO. Unless they are just exceptional athletes, anything north of 330 pounds is a bit heavy for my taste.

We have a couple guys on the roster that were in the 350 range when we recruited them, and it is seemingly a battle every year to get them lighter and in playing shape. I prefer the guys that come in needing to gain weight as opposed to lose it

Yep. Bradford is a prime example. He should be an OT, but he's added so much weight he's been moved to guard.

Good size. But I’d like to get the 7 5*s that Bama does for OL

Anderson seems like an intriguing prospect. Sounds like he has real interest as he already visited a while back. His measurables look great and we have recruited TN very well recently. Glad we were in on him early.

Will you add them to your original OT post as well?

NEVER MIND... I see you already did that. Nice work!

I would want my guards and center north of 300lbs, i would prefer more athletic tackles south of 300lbs to deal with the speedy defensive ends.
