Gt23neric, I have to agree. I can't recall a class with this much firepower at the top end combined with just a huge number of very, very high quality recruits. Lose Jackson at the end was softened by pulling Montgomery.
It is probably LSU's best recruiting class in the modern era.

GT and VT/VPI fans are probably, as a group, the most knowledgeable and classy fans of schools that we've played recently. tOSU fans are pretty good, as a group, as well.
In conference, Miss State and UGA are probably my favorite. The Gumps had been humbled, so that suppressed the worst elements of their fan base. Thats' all changed now. There are still smart knowledgeable Bama fans, but they get overwhelmed by a smelly, Crimson flow of the masses.

The people I am really looking forward to are the 3 star guys.
I think we could make a LEGITIMATE argument for all of those guys to be low 4 stars.
There will be some future pros in the 3 star category -- don't forget about them.
You will see one step in and play 4 years -- Dominic Allen. He was a 4 star FB if there ever was one.

I think so. A large part will be determined by how much Ridley plays FB in 2009. However, Allen will be the primary blocking FB beginning in 2010. I also think he can develop into a full service FB.

Thanks and welcome.....I to like this class. A great fill on needs. This year look for LSU to hit the TE position hard.
