You forgot:

1. Did not have a committable offer.
2. Does not have the chest.
3. Not a good fit for our system.
4. Afraid of competition.
5. Recruit X is a better player.
6. College X bought him.
7. Coach X steered him to College X.
8. Recruit is too small, slow, etc..
9. Recruit lacks College spirit factor, Tiger Pride, Frog factor, etc.
10. Not a true resident of the State.

Thanks but you know how it goes. Even if he chooses TCU, it won't be over until signing day. A lot can and probably will happen.

Confirmed J Rodgers TCU
I stand corrected. Good research.

I guess it feels that way since Dalton likely has more starts than those 7 combined.

and he's garbage with all that talent at receiver and RB. Texans have made him look like hammered shite. I bet his QB Rating against us is in the 70's for his career.

Dalton may have all types of trouble in the playoffs but the fact is the Bengals went to the playoffs only 2 times in the last 20 years prior to his arrival. Since his arrival, the Bengals have gone 5 of the last 6 years.

Do you want me to post what he has done against the good teams or teams with good defenses?
I don't think you do... Oh shite, I can't help myself
79 QBR for regular season games with 1-3 record and 0-2 in the playoffs with a 49 QBR.
And the Texans have been 9-7 the last 3 years and 2-14 the year they beat them with 12-4 in 2011. Not impressive...

Saw the kid play for Katy (I live in KISD) and know exactly what he's about. Nothing against him, but he is at best a late second / third tier QB 18-23 average range guy at the very best.

Yeah JHill and Bernard are the reason for that with short arse passes and runs. Both had been good for 11-12.

Granted, but the fact remains the Bengals have been a better team with him at quarterback. Let's not forget the Bengals got a great deal out of Dalton as he was a 2nd round pick allowing them to get more players. The limitations you list are why he isn't more and probably will be viewed dimly.

But the main point here is that most colleges would still be happy to list Dalton as one of their alumni because it is no small thing to be a consistent starter in the NFL and he is an otherwise stand-up person, right?.

So if the kid is not "worthy" of playing here then why are some of you so butthurt that he is not coming? Just wish the kid the best of luck regardless of where he goes......except any kid that goes to bama.

Good advice, but then you follow it up with:

Playing in front of 40k 3 times a year must be a huge draw..........He's gonna probably transfer when Cumbie finally leaves anyway.

Probably should have taken your own advice.
