Ahh. I was under the impression it could have been an insurance for both that and CEH possibly going pro. Also heard the staff feels good about a top 10 overall guy that visited during a recent home game. Probably not hard to figure out who. I have no idea how they fit all these guys in.

I was looking at YouTube highlights earlier of josh white, ojulari, Webb, Greene and Samprah. I’m excited about their ability to tackle first and foremost. Those guys get their hands on you and you’re going down.

Bama sent him packing. Likely JUCO with grades risk. Mississippi State will try everything they can to make him eligible. We really like him, too.

You mean two QBs. No RB is committed at this time.

No. I meant two RBs. Gibbs was the other name I heard as Teauxler and Vol said.

Almost looks like we are sending our guys to Colorado that we aren't keeping.

I’d be curious to learn what those loopholes were.

I know Alabama got their kicker and another player not to count toward their numbers last year. At least that was the rumor.

We all look at numbers from a selfish fan standpoint but it sure seems like max Johnson’s dad would be financially capable to pay Max’s way his first year to save a spot. But like I said, that’s a selfish fan’s idea. The kid’s earned his right to get a free ride.

In what world does Curry not leave? He is already behind two freshman and gonna be behind another one next year. Dont see gibbs as much as I like him coming here with another back either

I believe the 2 that you say are in 1 of the 2 that may be out.

I just find it hard to believe that LSU would push Jalen Lee out.

I would think that if Jalen Lee got pushed out it would be for Burch because we need quality and numbers on the defensive line.

Anything is possible with all of the talk about who wants in.

I doubt we’re losing any commitments right now.

Unless CEO tells a recruit to look somewhere else.

The two RB thing isnt set in stone... depends on what happens with Curry. If he does end up transferring it's more likely, but if they convince him to stay we will just take Evans. Remains to be seen how it plays out

Going to play devils advocate here and say carrying 3 RBs is probably fine when it's TDP, Emery and Evans for a year. We hardly have used Emery or Curry all season. Even TDP hasn't gotten truly into a rotation with CEH.

In our previous offenses I never would say carrying just 3 is ok, but now, I mean, I wouldn't be worried really.

In the end we just have zero room to make for another RB this class when you're talking about Evans, Webb and Dumervile likely being in at this point plus 1 more elite guy potentially beyond that.

Get that but Brennan may need to rely on the run game more than Burrow does. May be more rotations next year.

Which is fine, we'd still have 3 big time horses still. I dont see a true change though what we're doing offensively. Right now we are almost right around 50/50. Just over 50/50 in favor of pass. I dont see us doing something crazy like going to 40/60 pass/run next season (Which is about what we were in 2018) or something. Brennan slung it around a ton in high school and I dont see it being a lot different next year. Some people might be a little skeptical on him but I just dont see a huge change in offensive playcalling between run/pass next year.

The thing about only carrying three running backs is running into an issue like Texas had this season. It worked out well for them with their third string qb but that doesn’t mean it would work out every time for every program

We shouldn't mention names in who might lose offers. Let the coaches deal with that. Very few teams 3-4 per year have the ability to resend offers to 4* players.this is the 1st time I can remember it ever happening to LSU.

When you look at other teams however they have more RBs than us. We currently have 5 with 0 commits. Bama has 5 with 2 commits. UGA as 5 with one commit and they still want Evans. Ohio State has 7 with one commit.

By that measure, we need an RB in this class.
