With the transfer portal being what it is today, I think this idea of a player “hearing things” about a future player and making a decision based off that are all but done. Kid knows that even if we end up with Underwood, he could still just transfer out and he would get the money we are paying him plus the experience behind it.

I realize that recruiting can be volatile and 18 year olds can be irrational….but Hurley decommiting would be a Bond villain level of deception.

Colin Hurley has never given me the impression that competition would scare him off. Just the opposite, he knows having the best players is the best way to have a winning team. This kid is a winner
