I'm not a huge recruitnik and I don't much care who we sign (I leave that to y'all)... but I really want Patterson. Boy, do we need a wide receiver who could step in and play right away.

Okay - Arkansas was arguably the 3rd best team in the country this year. Auburn was definitely not. However, the initial comparison was Arkansas and Ole Miss - Arkansas is, over the past 10 years at least a notch or 3 above Ole Miss, who, as I pointed out, is typically holding down spots 5 or 6 in the division - Arkansas is always 3rd or 4th (or better).

So right now - Bama and LSU are the top tier - Arkansas and Auburn are second tier (I haven't forgotten $cam 2010) and the Mississippi schools are bringing up the rear. Maybe Bama has moved up and Auburn down over the past 10 years, but that's how I see it.

Nobody knows but most people think LSU is on the outside looking in.

Looks like he's a Vol

Rusty Mansell of 247 says Patterson committed to Tennessee tonight.

Kipp Adams of UGA's Rivals site also says Patterson to Tennessee.

Ole Miss mods are saying Patterson to Tennessee as well.

VolQuest hinting at it as well.

Hopefully we're not getting trolled.
