Baglio thought he was a god but in realistically he was a jerk. He followed Lebrandon T. to LSU and I think he was like a dorm coach or something. Kentwood vs Amite was always classic. To this date, I don't understand wear Kentwood got all their players. Kendrick P. ended up at Southeastern U. and from there I do not know.

Baglio's dad cursed me out during a jv game. And he wasn't even entitled to be on the sideline (but I was trying to be cordial).
And his assistants were a bunch of young big mouths. Currier always treated me with the utmost respect. It was awhile back but I don't forget that stuff.

Don't worry, it runs in the Baglio family. I don't think I could ever be an official. I don't have the patience. It is a tough job.

I don't have the patience any longer now. Nor the desire. I had fun doing it for a short time, however.

I don't know much about Pineville Football, other than they are a foe to be reckoned with consistently in large school Louisiana football....I don't have any ties in Alexandria/Pineville.....now, if Sid Edwards comes back around (to Cenla) then I'll make it a point to visit....

how do you think Ouachita Parish is gonna do this year?
Posted on 8/9/08 at 2:52 pm to RockingTheBayou
I dunno. Got blown out in the first round of the playoffs last year by STM. I only know about Conner and Cameron Blakes. Back when I was living in Rayville, I went to five or six Ouachita games during Tyler Edwards' sophomore year. I was dating a teacher at the school....I enjoyed watching that team.
Usually I don't like spreads but they were a spread team that I actually liked....Josh Strong was the consummate field general in the no-huddle for Coach Carr...i was shocked to see them abandon the spread but a back like Conner has to be featured...you don't get one of those too often.

I'll bet Rocket could tell you.

It's legendary now that the uneasy alliance of Rocket and Clean attended Rayville games featuring Richard Murphy back in the day....

Can't do that, but maybe she had a couple of daughters who were cheerleaders at the time and she is about 4-foot-11....

He's tough
I feel sheepish about the other night when we were talking about the Trinity game for another article and i said i didn't think Curtis would be ranked in the top 25 in the nation heading in - but there was a good shot that Trinity would be....
He said, "TRINITY IS NO. 1!"
I had not realized that the rankings were out. Little irritating when you pride yourself as being informed but unless the football stuff is something you work with every day - you will miss info here and there....just thought you guys might see the funny there and how i was mad at myself...

Well I guess Curtis may need a promotion after Labor Day.
Posted on 8/10/08 at 8:41 pm to PerfectStorm2001
We'll see. It will be an uphill battle but from talking to Cain and cb B. Porter, they feel like they match up pretty well with Trinity and they seem wary of the opponent but also confident that they can win if they play their A game. (cliches abounding woot)

btw, i took the pic of Cain in the sig during the homecoming game last year
