I want to throw a name of on the list of prospects not mentioned. His name is Armand Williams from Slidell High School. I have watched Armand play football and basketball. He also runs track. Slidell does not have one of the stronger football programs and Armand will not get the stats he needs to be considered a top prospect. He is extremely talented, good speed, trmendous vertical jump and a very high character student athlete. Very coachable and has a tremendous work ethic. Slidell produced Matt Forte and he is the same type of athlete. I hope he gets a good evaluation by the Tiger coaching staff.

The Times-Picayune reported he currently has a Tulane offer.

Gavin Webster strikes me as a QB and a QB only. He's prolly too short for Les' liking though.

Armand Williams I understand has a Tulane offer but has not committed. Tulane feels they can get him because he will be under the radar. As mentioned Slidell does not have a strong program. He is going to be a great pick up for someone .... I hope it is the LSU.

He was listed as a workout warrior at the nike camp. Ricky Williams was a badass college player too.

I apologize if this has already been answered in this thread..didn't find it. Anyway, is the list also in order of what is believed to be priority?

No, it's just random for now. Once things begin to shake out and to take shape, I'll add some rhyme/reason to the list.

I see you have Houston Bates as a DE. Ive heard he may be recruited as a TE, any thoughts on that? Not major news just a local kid here on the northshore. Im going to see him play plenty in the fall and hope to post some updates on him. (He's never played TE in high school to my knowledge).

First I have heard of him as a TE. I have heard whispers of him being an LB, but that's all.
Rivals has him listed as a DE, so that's where I will leave him.
I'll keep an ear out for anything about him though.

Great thanks. I'll be watching most/all of St Pauls games in the fall so I'll hopefully have some input then as well.

Flask...two questions:
First, will you still list a recruit who has already given a verbal to another team? For example, Connor Wood is (from what I have heard) very high on Gary Crowton's want list but has verbally committed to Texas. Even so, LSU is likely to still recruit him. Remember when Loston gave his verbal to Clemson last year...LSU stayed after him.
Second, will you list players like Rashad Givens? who moved on from high school to JUCO? When someone has mentioned his name other people have pointed out that he is no longer in high school and has moved to East Central CC? Even so, he may still sign with someone in 2010?
Thanks for compiling the list...appreciate you taking the lead.

We lost out on Reggie Wilson and Jamel Turner.
Just thought I'd let the people following the thread know.
