I'll take a wild guess and say that Mateer is the absolute make or break for Oklahoma. I already mentioned the articles that said that USC, OU, and Alabama are at a real turning point in recruiting due to extensive losses to the portal. I don't think anyone would not think that the reason that OU hired the Washington State OC was to try to assure them of Mateer following him. Arnold is gone....his replacement for some games last season threw about as well as Milroe. That is not a compliment BTW.
As far as Daniels goes, I will stick to my opinion that I thought he was a loss to LSU. Having said that, once LSU hit on a couple of really good WRers, it won't matter vey much. Especially since Daniels only has 1 year of eligibility left.

Well, better to see him go there than somewhere else in the SEC. It’s a money move on his part, but I think we’ve more than adequately replaced him with out portal adds.

Transfers should be allowed to play for their current team in one last hoorah if they are just feeling the urgency to enter the portal before there are no good landing spots left.
At least if your team is in the playoffs but you still want to seek a starting role or let's be honest, cash.

He picked OU. Miami better rally so they don't end up in a pickle like FSU. Mendoza from Cal seems like a natural option.
