That would be my guess...Lacy will still get an offer.

Him and Lache would be a nice start to 2010.

That would literally be an impossible get IMO.

LSU would have the best running back stable in the history of college football. << and yes it would be THAT good.

Bama fans should be happy with this revelation if true. It would seem TR is pretty solid for them now, unless FLA pushes hard.

And just a side note for the star gazers,

Scout says he is a future 5 star.

Yeah I'd say so.

Lacy will probably be a 5 star or a high high 4 star coming out of JUCO/prep school.

Lache is a sure bet 5 star...probably around #10 overall.

Two in the top 40 to start the year....I'll take it.

I am searching for anyhting new on Lacy that would have triggered this...

Lynx? Are we to presume that his GPA is way off or did the coaches think CM was that much better all of a sudden. I doubt the latter.

I noticed that too.

He will be a 5 star on BOTH sites after his last camp performance.

Being a 5 star is saying a lot more on Rivals than it is on Scout. 25 on Rivals vs. 50 on Scout.

He may move to around the #3 back in the country in the updated rankings. << This is my own opinion, not from a published article. Bryce Brown and Cierre Wood will probably be the only two guys ranked ahead of CM at RB IMO. Richardson will be #4 right behind CM from the sounds of it.

Rankings should come out next week BTW.

Under this scenario...I hate to say it...but we would have to hope for Lacy not to qualify this year.

Well, reports are that Lacy's ACT is fine now. I don't have anything on his GPA. Also, maybe take into account the off the field incidences with Lacy (those could be the deciding factor...but thats only a presumption).

I honestly think CM has gotten A LOT better in the past year. From all reports, everyone (all sites) have been 'wowed' by him. He must have really improved over the summer.

Lynx, what other big moves in the rankings do you project?

Sorry for the hijack.

On the rivals main board there is a sticky that mentions new rankings coming out soon. I didn't get it from Mike

Chris Faulk will make a very big jump. He COULD and this is a big COULD move into the Rivals100 after his LSU performance. I think him being around 150 is very realistic though. He was the best player at the LSU camp...which includes Sua'Filo who is ranked around the 50s.

Shaq Evans will drop a good bit. Probably around 60 or so.

Minter will move up after all the ******ing everyone has done. I just don't know how far. I think they will put him in the 220 range (If they put him higher than that...everyone can do the "I told you so" which makes Rivals look bad).

Throw some names at me and I can tell you my projection...

Yeah that would be best case for us, but not likely. We really only need LACHE next year.

The Football Recruiting mainboard at Rivals is excellent. A ton of discussion (not always about recruiting, but discussion nonetheless) and you get POVs from ALL different teams involved with the recruit.

Kind of creates an assimilation of ALL rivals information from all the pay sites at rivals. Also, some of them have legit inside information (normally FSU or Miami fans...I don't know why, but some of them are just as good as the publishers for their teams site).

With the success that LSU is having w/ recruiting RB's...By 2011, there will hardly be an "committable" offers for RB or Elite backs will start looking elsewhere...

All players want to play for a team that has consistently been at the top, but kids these day want to start Day 1

Just an observation...

Do you have to be a member of Rivals to get on their main board?

I am desperate...these phone depos suck and the CM, Debose and Bostic news has made my day fly by.
