He moved to Nebraska after he committed to Nebraska. He had previously lived in College Station.

Is he the "surprise player" that tards were referring to a few days ago?

I really hope not. Both Gilmore and Bain are easily better than him

For a "highlight" film, he sure gets stood up a lot.

With the Texas defense looking awful, Auburn going downhill and looking for a new coach, and USC looking unappealing, there are a number of DT prospects from those three schools that LSU could get in on

I think you guys are underestimating him a bit. He uses his hands really well and plays with a high motor. Check out the profile write up on him by Powers. Very high praise.LINK

I'm very surprised Rivals has him as a 3* looking at his offer sheet

He has good size. Would be perfect to slide him to the inside like brockers and ego. I say hes a take, no telling what will happen with gilmore, williams, beckwith or bain. We need d line men. Also some guys may not get the grades and would leave us with some room.

I like Lacouture and always have but I admit to being kind of crossed on taking him now. I think he would be a solid take but also think both Gilmore and Bain are better talents. I just don't trust Bain, so for that reason I am perfectly ok with taking Lacouture if he visits and wants in . FL kids can be hyper fricked up in recruiting.

My biggest issue with Lacouture is that he had his chance to commit to us early and still passed. I don't care for that kind of shite. It's not like we didn't want him then. Some say we passed but everything at that time was that he was the #1 DT on the bard then. Guess it depends on each person's interpretation of the events at that time. I will be pleased if Gilmore joins him, which I think happens if momma joins him on the trip. At that point, I'm extremely pleased with DT takes in this class. Lawson, Gilmore, Lacouture is a good, solid group at DT imo. If we miss on Gilmore then Bain should be pushed and I would expect he would be.

Agree with this assessment, but I'm confident in the staff

Take a look at his frame, this kid could easily get to 300 - looks like a DT to me.
