This post wasn't intended to start a RS debate but merely hoping someone would check this kid out before other teams do. LSU need QB's and I believe Canada can groom this kid into something special.
Go Tigers!!!!!!!!

Recruiting and signing Russell Shepard was not a screw up. Shepard had a productive career just not at QB. Not my idea of productive from one of the best talents in the country coming out of HS

If the players needed to be developed by the coaching staff when they hit campus, they were shite out of luck. If they could make it be watching others, going thru a natural maturation, or getting enough plying time to learn their positions then they might get on the field for extended playing time, and be a great player. It wasn't from coaching. And oh, BTY, how is GoodOleLess' team working out? Still sitting on go I suppose.

Russell Shepard is making 1.6 mil this year almost twice what Jarvis Landry will make.

quote:

from Wiki: Russell Shepard (born September 17, 1990) is an American football wide receiver and special teamer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He attended Cypress Ridge High School in Harris County, Texas.[1] He played college football at Louisiana State University. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles.

I doubt he feels like he's had an unproductive career.
