If Baker thought they were ready for his scheme, Kelly wouldn't object to starting them. Baker is making the calls on D personnel. Why would he come here otherwise?
Sometimes, I don't think people understand. Would Kelly/Woodward make Baker one of the highest paid D Coordinators and them tell him who could and could not play? Highly doubtful.

Maybe BK needs to re-evaluate Baker.
Tam and the gumps went in dry.

It's clear that LSU is missing the talent at D Tackle, LB and Safety to defend the certain dual threat QBs. That is being addressed through recruiting and development. The old saying is "strength up the middle" and that's our weakness which shows against the power teams.
BK arrived in Dec 21 - two weeks before early signing day for the 22 class - 15 signees on a roster with 39 scholarships - no big bodies other than the 2 OTs which meant no depth and no development possible in year one. His first class was the 23 class which was highly rated but light on the big bodies and Heard bolted for TN. His second class in 24 was ranked #7 and included Reliford and McKinley. The 2025 class has 4 big bodies at 300+ lbs. and now we have Bo Davis coaching. LB recruiting and DB recruiting have also improved. LSU made a conscious decision to not do what A$M did and buy a team while at the same time rebuilding a PROGRAM. A$M had to pay a boatload to Jimbo because the PROGRAM was going sideways, and they acted quickly because they have the money to do it. A stable program winning 9 - 10 games per year is acceptable right now because revenue and fan engagement is high. If those two dynamics change, LSU will have a business decision to make. But from all looks, it appears LSU made a long-term commitment to rebuild the program from within and not shop for one and done portal players. How do you effectively recruit if players think they could be replaced frequently through the portal and create turnover on the roster. Roster stability is critical to teh rebuild.

2 blowouts in 2 weeks. USCe was a loss had their QB didn't get hurt.
This staff has 2/3 years to at least make it to the Natty NOT just the tourney.
If they lose out this year, all bets off.

Completely disagree and the fun part of this is we’ll see how it plays out. 9 - 10 wins keeps him here for at least 5-6 years if recruiting and revenue continue to improve.

You win the last three games. That's how.

We need improved play on the OL
Even Underwood would struggle right now in that shite show of an OL
