There might actually be something positive that comes out of this announcement. With Sims now committed, Bama will likely stop pursuing Malachi Dupre due to having limited schollys to give out.

I see what ur saying but if dupre wanted in at bama they would grey shirt someone to get him in. They won't turn him away or quit recruiting. He's the top WR in the nation

Mainly just speculation due to the fact that the two Cams are close. Would be pretty funny if it turned out that Cam was just using Bama to get Sims an Alabama offer this whole time.

Winner Winner. Dupre is going to LSU and Bama knows it. And I will believe Sims is going to Alabama when he signs, if they can get a better player they will.
