Cam is going to Bamma his best friend announced last week for Bamma . If Faulk would not have gotten injured he would have gone in the 1st. Sad to lose him and may influence other recruits.

Why would you want to rep the state of Alabama ?

If all are prospects just choose to stay where they grew up and play and rep louisiana then we would be the best in the country period just dont know how you could go to our most hated rival??

If everyone felt that way then we would have never had Patrick Peterson and other tons of players.

Everyone accepts when out of state players come here but freak out when an in state guy leaves.

Yea it sucks he's going to Bama, but tons of players leave their state to come here.

Your same thread on the Rant wasn't enough?

BTW, my question in your other thread went unanswered,

I like to think of LSU as being such an attractive program that we can both lock down our in-state recruits and attract others from outside the state as well.

The perception should be, "why would I ever leave home when I can 1) commit to as good a program there is in the nation with just as much opportunity to play in the NFL as anywhere else 2) play in front of friends and family and 3) represent where I come from."

Locking down in state talent is one of the first priorities any head coach at any program tries to do.

How many boards will you start this thread on? I think you've had enough internet for a few weeks.

Why does LSU have success pulling DB's from out of Florida? Because they have extreme success putting DB's in the League. Same with Bama and Offensive Linemen right now. Something tells me you would rather keep these types of players coming into LSU than repping the state of Florida.
