Dunno if anything is to be made of the delay I'm announcement, probably just coordinating it with espn so they can cover it and televise it. I think the timing is better though, it kind of shits on our opening game if he picks Bama the night before.

who cares? it's a moot point. Why do we need the top player from "Alabama"? With any top recruit, you throw a bone out there to gauge their interest and assess how much time you should spend on them. LSU got Kwon and spent a pretty good bit of time going after Winston. But if you get strong bites from other players around the country, that's where you spend your time.
